Our Matt’s Maker Space is more than a room full of supplies — it’s a place where children can build, design, and discover through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).
Matt’s Maker Space is a nonprofit network of learning environments founded by Noelle and David Conover in memory of their son, Matt. These spaces encourage hands-on exploration, creativity, and collaboration, with tools and materials that invite kids to experiment and imagine. While most Maker Spaces are found in schools, libraries, or hospitals, Autism Caring Center is proud to host the very first one located in a community center. This makes it easier for families to access, and ensures that children of all abilities have a welcoming place to learn and create together.
In true collaboration with Matt’s Maker Space we are fulfilling our vision to nurture this community by fostering an environment where irrespective of their ability everyone can thrive.
