Meet Our Keynote Speaker

Jordyn Zimmerman is an educator, disability advocate, and nationally recognized leader in accessibility and inclusive communication. Diagnosed as autistic at a young age, she did not gain access to augmentative communication until age 18, an experience that fuels her advocacy for equitable tools and supports in learning and community spaces. Jordyn has delivered presentations and keynotes around the world, contributed to major accessibility initiatives, and has been featured in national media including The Boston Globe and The New York Times. She was named to the inaugural Forbes Accessibility 100, serves as Board Chair of CommunicationFIRST, and is an Apple Distinguished Educator. Jordyn holds degrees from Ohio University, Boston College, and Quantic School of Business and Technology, and is committed to ensuring everyone has access to effective communication and truly inclusive communities.

A Weekend Created With You in Mind

Motherhood on this journey can feel isolating, overwhelming, and exhausting. The Autism Connections Conference for Moms exists to offer something different. This weekend is for moms who want to step out of survival mode and into connection. Whether you are newly navigating this path or have been walking it for years, you belong here. No pressure to have it all together. No expectations to share more than you want. Just space to learn, breathe, and be surrounded by women who understand.


Held at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe. The building is conveniently located off of Interstate 79, and offers free parking!



What You Can Expect
